This workshop, “Learning to Look” led by Mary Lynn Riley at the Espace de l’Art Concret will help you develop your ability to look at, analyse, and enjoy works of art that might seem inaccessible at first glance.
The current exhibition, Filiations, takes some key pieces from the museum’s permanent collection and puts them alongside exciting new works loaned or created especially for the show, creating a dialogue between the old and the new works of art. Participants will have occasion to examine and discuss artistic concerns such as space, colour, materials, and technique, bringing their own creative regard to the objects in the galleries.
No previous knowledge of art is necessary.
Meet at the La Cantina at 12 midday.
